A 12-year old girl from Idaho recently set the world record for a yellow perch. Her name is Tia Wiese, and her dad took her ice fishing on Lake Cascade last March.
As she tells Fish and Game, “I couldn’t stop smiling. It was the biggest perch I’ve seen. I was kind of hoping it was a state record.”
